Just in case anyone missed it, today is World Water Day. In celebration (?), Paris is rebranding its tap-water; I don’t actually know what the French for tap-water is (eau du robinet, perhaps?), but from now on in Paris it's "Eau de Paris", and they’re giving away ten thousand branded carafes to prove it. I have, I confess, often wanted to live in Paris, but never more so than today. "Eau de Newcastle" just doesn’t carry the same cachet. Sigh...
